view of Dumpers and Paunch, two world
class surf breaks. While no other hotel
can compare for those on a surf holiday,
we offer something for everyone. Nature
lovers, outdoor sport enthusiasts, beach
bums or folks that just want to lie in
a shady hammock with a book for the week
will all find what they are looking for.

Amazing sand filled natural swimming holes
to relax and play in, just a 10 minute
walk is pristine Bluff Beach, three miles
long and usually deserted. Trail riding
on our friendly horses right from the
hotel. Six acres of private nature trails
where sighting monkeys, sloths, parrots,
hummingbirds and more is possible. And,
of course, bike rentals to explore the
beach and beyond. For those that really
need to stay in touch with the outside
world we provide free wireless internet;
however, because of our remote location
the service can be sporadic. Bocas Town
does have Internet Cafes if it is not
working. We do suggest leaving it, and
all your cares behind. Come to La Coralina

If you are a surfer or
a surfing fan by now your room is booked
at La Coralina! Nowhere in Bocas can you
relax, hang out and watch the waves for
the perfect sets to start working. If
you are here to spectate grab a cold drink,
a set of the house binoculars and enjoy
the day under the shade of our covered
deck. Within very short walking distance
are four uncrowded world class breaks.
Bluff Beach (for the
extreme) works up a long powerful wave
that, due to an underwater drop-off, breaks
almost on the beach. Pack a spare board!
Three fast sporty breaks
are a stone's throw away. La Curva, Dumpers
( the locals secret), and Paunch. All
three are reef breaks offering both lefts
and rights with sporty quick waves over
sparkling clear-blue waters. From here
if you still crave more, local boats can
run you out to two additional hot breaks.
World famous Silverbacks, off the nearby
island Bastimentos, is a monster reef
break, up to 25 feet, with a steep drop
and a shot tube. The second, Carenero
Break, the other locals favorite, is a
fast 200 yard shot of fun. Beginners can
find safe fun waves at a nearby sand beach
called Waikiki. La Coralina is working
now on a surf camp program for the coming
2008 season.
